Eddie loves stories, and he has memorized the beginnings of dozens of them, but he just can't seem to stay awake for the whole thing. Perhaps something was conditioned into him as a cub, because as soon as a story starts, he feels overwhelmingly like it's time to hibernate. He tries as hard as he can to keep his eyes open, but his soft and floppy body just seems to melt into a fluffy, sleepy puddle, and he's out. Someday, he hopes to find out whether Eeyore ever found his tail, and whether the three bears ate Goldilocks or not. Sometimes he dreams his own endings, which can be confusing. For example, he can't remember if Captain Hook really traveled to China in a hot air balloon.
