Sandy spends the majority of her free time volunteering as a cook at a summer camp for young llamas, and she is both feared and beloved by campers and counselors alike. Her short stature doesn't keep her from staring down anyone who doesn't clean their plate, and she has been known to withhold cookies from campers who refuse to wash their hands. She believes a firm hoof is often necessary to teach young llamas how to behave themselves. At the same time, she can be counted on to provide a sympathetic ear (and possibly an extra helping of ice cream) to any youngster with a skinned knee, a failed swim test, or an unrequited camp crush. She is fiercely proud of her cooking and her campers.
