Leonard's big luminous green eyes are perfect for seeing in the dark, and that is perfect for Leonard because he loves the dark. All the noise and bustle of the daytime has quieted down, the world feels calm and velvety soft (just like Leonard's fur), and the stars are on full display with their comforting twinkly lights. If he is feeling adventurous, he'll go outside and fly through the treetops, listening to the way the leaves rustle in the breeze and giving the occasional friendly whistle to his owl friends. If he's feeling cozy, he'll stay inside with a fire and a mug of green tea, listening to music as his imagination drifts.
